Description: Ready to set sail? In this exciting engineering camp, children will design and build their own rubber band-powered boats, testing how far they can race and how much weight they can hold before sinking. Through experimentation, students will explore displacement, buoyancy, and density, learning about real-world engineering principles in an exciting, hands-on way. Each child will take home their boat and a parent info sheet outlining the key learning outcomes.
Recommended for ages 5-12.
